COMING SOON: Ensaymada (Sweet Filipino Brioche) - 4 Pack
A Filipino sweet brioche bread: buttery, buttery, buttery. Eaters in the western world probably won’t be used to eating sweet things with cheddar cheese on top, but take a food tour of Asia and you’ll see the light. Given our “Cottage Foods Industry” designation, we can’t provide the cheese, but warm up an ensaymada, drizzle some extra melted butter and sugar over it, and use a fine grater to grate some cheddar cheese on top. You will be a changed person.
Important Note:
The flour we use for this product contains de-glutinated wheat starch that is certified by the FDA and Italian Celiac Association as safe for people with celiac disease (but NOT safe for people with a wheat allergies unrelated to gluten). We are currently selling our products under the Colorado Cottage Foods Act and cannot market them as “certified gluten free”—however, 100% of the ingredients we use are certified gluten free and there is no chance of contamination during our our preparation and baking process, as no products containing gluten (packaged or unpackaged) are allowed in our kitchen.
